Tips for Having the “Popular” Dorm Room
Sure you want to have the coolest dorm room in the hall but if you can’t spring for Direct.TV or figure out how to sneak in a keg-o-rator we’ve got some suggestions for still standing out.
Get the Video Games: Everyone congregates in the room with the great gaming station so hook yourself up and get as many controllers as will work with the system. You’re bound to have people in your room all the time if you’ve got the games they want to play.
Get lots of seating: There’s nothing worse than the dorm room that doesn’t have anywhere to sit so invest in a futon as well as some small stools or even a chair. If people know your room is comfy they’ll go out of their way to visit you.
Host Parties: We’re not talking about all night ragers that get you thrown of campus, we mean weekly get togethers with a purpose. Make sure your room always has an open door and that people know on Thursdays, head to room 403 for a good time.
