When stress gets the best of us, it can often leave us feeling depressed and overwhelmed by the world. If you suspect that you’re depressed, here are a few things you should do in order to control it and to keep it from getting worse.
Talk to someone: When we talk with someone we are close to, we can get a lot off our chest and ask for their personal advice.
Lighten your load: If you’re taking on too much with school, it’s so important to lighten your load. Try taking few classes, working fewer hours and consider increasing the fun in your life.
Exercise: Exercising is a great way to stay healthy and get rid of depression. When we exercise, we release “feel good hormones” called endorphins.
Seek professional help: If you feel your condition is worsening, be sure to seek professional help.
