How To Manage Work, School And Your Social Life

Being in college today means a lot more than just having to go to class or attend lectures. In most cases, students are also working adults with other commitments and families. How can this be a life of balance? Not everyone knows, but there are a few tips that might help the situation become less volatile.

Make a Plan

Before adding new items to the schedule, the student-worker should map out a plan with goals and objectives. This will prevent taking on things that do not add up to those goals and objectives.

Use technology more efficiently

Online classes are just one part of freeing up time as a full-time worker. Students who have access to I-Pads or other devices can save time without running out to bookstores and libraries, but still be able to transfer information where it is needed much faster.

Make time to have fun

Nothing is more detrimental to a schedule than one that is filled with only work and school. Each week there should be time for play and time for faith. Both of these can help relieve and reduce stress.

Keep to the schedule

As much as possible, adhere to what has been written in the schedule.
