Students Sharing Coalition offers a number of exciting annual events. Please see below for our upcoming opportunities!
Halloween for
Hunger 2008
This October Students Sharing is gearing up for
its seventh annual Halloween for Hunger. At the end of the month our
students will notify their neighbors to stock up with canned goods
as well as candy.
On Halloween we will collect the cans and distribute them to local
food pantries. Last year we collected 3.7 tons of food, and we hope
to beat that record this year!

Service
Events 2007-2008
For our high school students, we offer a
number of special service events throughout the year. If you
are interested in getting more of your community service hours done
at once, you prefer big projects, or you want to help your community
over the summer, we have many opportunities available.
Students can contribute their time at our annual service events
through activities such as: preparing and serving food at the
Spaghetti dinner for the Homeless in April, becoming a camp
counselor at our middle school Summer Service Camp,
trick-or-treating for cans at Halloween for Hunger, bringing holiday
cheer to those in need at the Micah House Holiday Party, or speaking
to state leaders while advocating for the homeless at our Lobby Day
in Annapolis. Please contact High School Coordinator Corey
Gaber at
cgaber@studentssharing.org for details.
